Refund and Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing to learn with us. We offer multiple course formats, each with its own refund structure. Please review the policy that applies to your purchase.

Cohort-Based Course Refund & Cancellation Policy

(Live, scheduled programs)

Cancellations & Refunds

• Full refund if you cancel 7 or more days before the official Start Date.
• 50% refund if you cancel within 7 days of the Start Date and before the course has begun.
• No refunds once the course has begun. However, you may request to defer your enrollment to a future cohort (see below).

Deferrals

• You may defer once to a future cohort at no additional charge.
• Deferral must be requested in writing within 7 days of the course beginning.
• If you do not select a new cohort within 30 days, your deferral may be forfeited.

Definitions & Administrative Details

• "Start Date" means the date of the first scheduled live session.
• Refund requests must be submitted by email to connect@deirdremclaughlin.ca before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the applicable deadline date.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days of confirmation.
• Taxes, currency conversion costs, and transaction fees may not be refundable unless required by law.
• Our internal attendance and access logs will determine refund eligibility.

Cancellations by Us

If we cancel or significantly reschedule a cohort (for example, by more than 30 days), you may choose either a full refund or a transfer to the next cohort at no additional charge.

Self-Paced Course Refund & Cancellation Policy

(Immediate-access online courses)

Cancellations & Refunds

• Full refund within 14 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course content has been completed.
• No refunds are available after 14 days, or once 20% or more of the content has been accessed.

Important Details

• Progress and access amounts are determined by our internal tracking logs, which are final.
• Refund requests must be submitted by email to connect@deirdremclaughlin.ca before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on the applicable deadline date.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 15 business days of confirmation.
• Taxes, currency conversion costs, and transaction fees may not be refundable unless required by law.

Exceptions

If you believe there has been a mistake, technical issue, or misrepresentation, please contact us. We will work with you to find a fair resolution.

Governing Law & Consumer Rights

This Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Customers outside Canada may have additional statutory rights that will apply where required.
